About the Event

The National Career Colleges Conference brings together leaders and professionals from across Canada’s career college sector, including college owners, administrators, educators, industry partners, and other stakeholders, for three days of learning, collaboration, and connection.

Attendees will explore the trends shaping career education today, from workforce development and student success to emerging technologies, evolving employer needs, and new approaches to teaching and training. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, case studies, and breakout sessions, participants can gain practical ideas to bring back to their colleges.

The conference also creates valuable opportunities to connect with peers and build new relationships. Networking breaks, roundtable discussions, and social events give attendees time to exchange ideas and learn from others across the sector. In the exhibit hall, participants can discover products, services, and technologies designed to support students, strengthen operations, and improve the college experience.

As Chief Medical Officer of Northern Lakes Health Network, Dr. Daniel Kapoor oversees clinical strategy, quality improvement, and physician engagement across multiple hospital and community sites. His work centers on improving access to care for rural and remote populations through innovative service delivery models. Dr. Kapoor is recognized for his leadership in clinician-led change and data-informed decision-making.

Sarah McAllister

Vice President, Strategy & Analytics, MetroCare Health Alliance
Sarah McAllister is Vice President of Strategy & Analytics at MetroCare Health Alliance, where she leads enterprise planning, performance measurement, and data analytics. With a background in health administration and business transformation, she specializes in turning complex data into actionable insights for frontline teams and executives. Sarah has led several successful initiatives to reduce readmissions and improve system efficiency.

Dr. Aisha Rahman

Family Physician & Clinical Lead, Downtown Community Health Centre
Dr. Aisha Rahman is a family physician and Clinical Lead at Downtown Community Health Centre, serving diverse urban and newcomer populations. She champions team-based primary care, chronic disease management, and culturally responsive services. Dr. Rahman is actively involved in community partnerships that address social determinants of health and improve access for underserved groups.

Jason Li

Director, Digital Health Programs, Horizon Health Collaborative
Jason Li is Director of Digital Health Programs at Horizon Health Collaborative, overseeing virtual care, patient portal, and interoperability initiatives. He has extensive experience implementing digital solutions that connect providers, patients, and community services. Jason’s work focuses on practical, user-centered technology that supports clinicians and simplifies the patient journey.

Dr. Isabelle Tremblay

Public Health Specialist, Centre for Health Equity & Inclusion
Dr. Isabelle Tremblay is a public health specialist at the Centre for Health Equity & Inclusion, where she leads research and programs aimed at reducing health disparities. Her work spans community-based interventions, policy advocacy, and training for health professionals on equity-informed practice. Dr. Tremblay is particularly focused on improving outcomes for racialized, Indigenous, and marginalized communities.
