Collaborative Treatment Planning
This course introduces a collaborative approach to developing and supporting individualized treatment plans. Learners will examine how to incorporate the young person’s goals, family perspectives, clinical recommendations, cultural considerations, strengths, risks, and support needs into daily practice.
Crisis Prevention and De-escalation
This course builds awareness of suicide and self-harm among children and youth. Learners will examine common warning signs, risk and protective factors, appropriate communication, immediate response procedures, documentation requirements, and when to involve clinical or emergency supports.
Documentation and Clinical Record Standards
Clear, accurate documentation is essential to safe and coordinated care. This course teaches learners how to record observations, interventions, incidents, progress, and relevant communications using objective, respectful, and professionally appropriate language.
