[Advanced Content Course] Discovering Canada: Communities, Cultures, and Connections

This interactive course introduces participants to Canada’s diverse people, places, and stories. Learners explore Canada’s regions, levels of government, and key moments in history, with a special focus on how communities in Ontario connect health, education, and well-being.

Participants will learn about Indigenous Peoples and treaties, immigration and diversity, and how local services like schools, clinics, and community agencies work together to support daily life. The course is designed for youth and adults who want a clear, welcoming introduction to Canada that builds a sense of belonging, curiosity, and community connection.
